The Blue Train is undoubtedly South Africa’s most iconic and recognised luxury train and one that makes a holiday combining a safari in the north and the sophistication of Cape Town in the south all the more feasible and appealing.
Claiming to be a 5 star hotel on wheels, I was excited to be invited aboard for a luxury land cruise of old school glamour, fine-dining and a little decadent extravagance.
